At your service
Welcome to the home page of the DESA NGO Branch. We service the 3,500 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), and all other NGOs seeking to work with the UN.
Consultative status with ECOSOC matters. It gives civil society access to nearly all intergovernmental processes at the UN dealing with economic and social development, gender issues, sustainable development, small arms, and human rights. Learn more.
